Port Elizabeth to Cape Town (JK02)

DAY ONE (Monday)   Port Elizabeth to Knysna
Depart from hotel or airport on a short city tour. Drive to the Tsitsikamma Coastal National Park, the only coastal park in South Africa. Continue via the Old Passes Road through indigenous forests to Plettenberg Bay and Knysna in the heart of the Garden Route. (Overnight KNYSNA)

DAY TWO (Tuesday)   Knysna to George
Opportunity to explore this quaint holiday town with its arts and crafts shops by yourself. Take a boat trip on the famous Knysna Lagoon to Featherbed Nature Reserve and a trailer ride to enjoy the spectacular views from the Western Head. Walk back along the Bushbuck Trail. Travel through the Wilderness Lakes District and experience the thrill of a ride on the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe, the original working steam train, to George. (Overnight GEORGE)

DAY THREE (Wednesday)   George to Mossel Bay
Travel over the Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn, world capital of the ostrich industry. Visit the Cango Crocodile Ranch and Cheetahland, the Cango Caves and an ostrich farm. Continue via the Robinson Pass to Mossel Bay where the Portuguese navigator, Bartholomew Diaz first landed. Visit South Africa's first post office, the famous Post Office Tree (Overnight MOSSEL BAY)

DAY FOUR (Thursday)   Mossel Bay to Cape Town
Visit the Bontebok National Park to see this endangered species. Continue via the historic town of Swellendam, Hermanus and the spectacular coastal route of False Bay to Cape Town. Transfer to hotel or airport.
